Submitting Content to the DCM project.

There are two methods of submission.

1. Bulk data/media export

Bulk Export provides a method of moving large amounts of data from an existing database and combining with media files. The data can then be automatically imported into the project database and assets distributed and sold via the web. An example XML file template and methodology is provided below.

2. Using the DCM client software (ImagenLite)

A software application designed to combine assets with metadata. The software stores the assets and metadata together in its own database. You can then select the records/assets from the database you wish to submit to the project, burn them to CD or DVD and send the disk to us at Cambridge Imaging Systems. We can then automatically import the metadata and media into the project database and create the assets that will be distributed online.
